One of my proudest achievements was designing this bespoke couture cocktail dress. The design is inspired by vintage dresses of the 1950’s and the 1960’s when peplums and low cut fitted bodices were a popular feature in fashion design.

A special addition to this design are pockets inside the peplum overskirt. The skirt features a box pleat at the back hem and a micro split at the sides. The bodice is fitted with German metal spiral boning and a hand stitched invisible zip. Couture constructed and lined throughout – along with a custom made slip belt to match. A beautiful dress indeed that was an absolute pleasure to make.
