Vintage Tea Dress

A 1950's Blackmore's Vintage Tea Dress Pattern

A few years ago I bought a remnant piece of vintage fabric woven in the UK in the 1940’s. It’s a narrow loom cotton seersucker with lovely orange carnations. It is so pretty and a fabulous find! I decided to put it to good use using my 1950’s vintage tea dress pattern by Blackmore in the UK. Unfortunately the fabric wasn’t wide enough to create the true look of the design but it came out lovely nonetheless. What’s missing is the belt! I’m looking for the perfect accent fabric to make one!
